Our Titanium jewellery range is designed and manufactured from commercially pure titanium, gemstones and precious metals. Every item is made to order from Ti2's premises in the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, UK. 

THE WONDERS OF TITANIUM

A new element named Menachanite was first discovered by an amateur mineralogist named Rev. William Gregor in the year 1791 in Cornwall. This was to become the 9th most common element on the earth. In the early 20thcentury a method was developed from which the metal now known as Titanium (named after the Greek God Titan) was successfully produced.
 

STRENGTH

Titanium has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all metals. It has excellent resistance to corrosion and because it is inert qualities, it has become the preferred metal used for body implants due to its hypoallergenic qualities.

DURABILITY

Titanium’s durability, strength, hypoallergenic characteristics as well as the unique and natural colours produced by a process known as anodic oxidation, make it one of the most useful and desirable metals used in the design of jewellery today.

THE RAINBOW COLOURS OF TITANIUM

When white light is refracted through a prism, the rainbow spectrum of colours which together form white light are revealed to us in all their glory.

Ti2 Colour Swatches

Titanium is one of very few metals which also possesses this unusual ability. By a process known as anodic oxidation, we are able to form a microscopically thin, naturally occurring oxide layer, which causes the same effect as revealed by a prism. In nature this same process can be seen in the magnificent colours of exotic birds, fish and dragonflies. As one of the pioneers of this unique craft based technique, Ti2  have become experts in our ability to reproduce specific colours, finishes and textures using titanium.
